Easy Banana 🍌 & Peanut Butter Frozen Dog Treat Cookie Recipe

Easy Banana & Peanut Butter Dog Treat Recipe!

Looking for a simple grain and dairy-free treat recipe for your dog? Bella has a sensitivity to grain, so we have to avoid it in all the treats and food we give her. Otherwise, Bella’s tummy gets all pink and red, really red.

Here is a great treat I made Bella, and she loves them. I even tried these, and they taste delicious. I would also recommend these for kids if you and your child love peanut butter and bananas.

Here is the most delicious Banana & Peanut Butter Dog Treat Recipe…

Place one ½ ripe banana in a mixing bowl with 5 Tablespoons water (you can add more water as you see fit). Mash the banana until it is almost a creamy texture.

Add the peanut butter to the banana mixture. Mix everything together thoroughly.
On a plate lay down a piece of parchment paper.

Scoop out four cookies onto the parchment paper. When scooping, use the tablespoon in order to have four evenly sized cookies. You will have a little extra batter, add the excess mixture evenly among all four cookies.

Next, place the cookies into the freezer for two hours or until frozen.
Share with your dog and watch them scarf these treats down!

Words Of Caution
1. I would only give your dog two of these treats a day. Otherwise, they could get an upset stomach from eating half a banana and half a cup of peanut butter.

2. These treats can get very messy when they melt. So unless you have a dog that inhales everything, be sure to give your dog small pieces of cookie at a time.

3. If you are storing these treats for weeks at a time, place the treats in a freezer bag or storage container.

The treats are not as even as I would like them…Sofia was helping.

Final thoughts…
This snack can really be eaten year-round. It is a sweet snack in the winter to give your dog during the holidays, but it is also a perfect treat during the hot summer months. Be sure to give your dog these treats in small chunks. Because once these cookies start to melt, you could have a real mess on your hands.
